WHY VISIT BERLIN

Berlin has been the crossroads of history, not only of Germany, of the past 60 years. The wall that divided the city from postwar since 1989 has for too long obscured the priceless treasures of human history concentrated in Berlin, almost all preserved in the Museum Island in the middle of the river Spree.

But Berlin is also the home of electronic music, fashion, and designers, in an urban context in which the new architecture coexists with Gothic and post-avant-garde ruins. A city where destruction, division, reconciliation, memory, and redemption chase each other in an eccentric and cosmopolitan environment. Under the austere blanket and stiffened by a past dark and impossible to forget, Berlin is the city that you would not expect.
